THE CIRCLE OF ALTRUISM (2019)

In a world of giving, everyone is a giver. Giving may be an altruistic gesture of helping another person without consciously expecting something concrete in return, or on another end, it may be prompted by self-interest, expecting to receive a benefit for one-self. What is considered a benefit is as complex as each person and hard to judge.

After practicing kindness myself while working as a volunteer, I was able to witness how a simple human gesture can benefit the lives of others and still have good flowing back to the giver. The focus of this video hovers around the benefits and payoffs of altruism and the practice of caring. I'm heartily hoping the outcome to point out the things people don’t know about acts of kindness, such as the gains of altruism and the satisfaction obtained by giving while not expecting anything in return.
